When joining Buying Time as a level 2 virtual assistant and project manager, I was also a high-level club volleyball coach! I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage my time with both jobs, but I knew it was going to be a balance that I needed. My days at Buying Time are filled with team brainstorming, problem-solving, client engagement, and more! When I am coaching my now 15-year-olds it somewhat correlates the same! I am coming up with game plans, helping with practice plans, team engagement, and overall team health.
Once I realized how much each job can help each other in more ways than one, I started to see a much bigger picture in what myself and both teams are doing on a day-to-day basis and how much it truly helps everyone we come across. The mindfulness behind each interaction can truly change not only someone’s day but their outlook on each project, task, or even game plan we are working on.
Fast forward two years of being at Buying Time and now the Virtual Assistant Supervisor, my biggest takeaways from working both jobs and transitioning into a new role is to have healthy balances and expectations between work and staying engaged in hobbies that not only excite and recharge you but can help you in all aspects of your life!
