We know so many of us are simultaneously reflecting and anticipating the transition of one year to the next right now and depending on the specifics it could leave us feeling a multitude of low to high emotions.
2021 was meant to be a bounce-back year after what was for many, one of the worst years we have or may ever experience. For Buying Time it was a year about rebuilding after a significant loss in clients and revenue that conflicted with our desire to keep our team intact. I’m proud to say that not only did we keep our team together, but we also added to it!
We also were able to launch a passion project of Virtual Assistants University in 2021, creating an opportunity for people who have found themselves in situations where they wanted to be in more control of their work lives. So many lost jobs and income because of shutdowns and mandates that they couldn’t control, then many were attempting to work full-time jobs from home while kids were online learning in the next room. We wanted to teach, guide, and mentor people into starting and building their own virtual assistant business through our lessons learned and mistakes. We’re hoping to show how it is possible to choose who, how, what, and where you work so that it matches your desires, goals, and overall needs.
2021 was a learning experience for our entire team and we’re looking forward to putting many of those teachings to use in making 2022 a year that we can be of service to many more clients and continue to grow our services in support of them.
One of the greatest joys of this season is the opportunity to say thank you and to wish you the very best for the New Year.
